The Real Estate Fair in Valencia will be held again this year, from the 22nd to the 24th of October, following a one-year break due to the pandemic.
The Mediterranean Real Estate Fair in Valencia, dubbed Urbe, will return to Feria Valencia from October 22nd to 24th, with the firm goal of reactivating the sector and bringing together the widest possible offer of both new promotions currently underway and second-hand housing and rentals.
This was highlighted by the Organizing Committee at its recent meeting at Feria Valencia, in which it gave the go-ahead to hold the show in October after having to postpone it last year due to the covid pandemic. At this meeting, it was stated that the recovery process and the most recent data justify the holding of the Fair, and that Valencia’s relatively stable and safe health situation will allow this manifestation to take place in the same form as before.
The Real Estate Fair will coincide with the Party and Wedding Fair, and it will keep it´s original form – face to face. Despite the latest trends and increasingly intensive use of digital resources as a sales channel, the organising Committee has stated that in the property industry, buyers prefer to have direct contact with the promoter, so this type of show has no digital future and will always have to be organised in its current form.
According to a statement issued by the organisation, the show will continue to use all digital means at its disposal to promote the Fair and the offers presented at the show, thus adapting to the new habits of consumers. However, face-to-face conversation will continue to be an important part of the Fair, as it always has been.
The organisers have stated that October will be a “good moment for the sector” as we finally emerge from the Pandemic, and consumers are currently very interested in anything relating to housing and different market options. The show will also be very beneficial to the builders and developers of new homes, since most of them sell properties directly and this is the only gathering point in Valencia to find out more about new builds.
It is still unknown how big the Real Estate Fair in Valencia will be. It had 53 direct exhibitors and approximately 4.500 visitors the last time it was held. It is expected that this year, after a long break, it will draw a larger number of visitors as well as more exhibitors, because the construction industry is desperately trying to get out of the crisis, and independent real estate agencies are attempting to reclaim their previous markets.
